Peggy was the daughter of Isabel (Brisbo) Thinker Perry Gladeau (Isabel's Assiniboine name was Hotu Icaga) and James "Little Jim" Perry, who was also Assiniboine, both of Fort Belknap Reservation in Montana.

Peggy's parents died when she was a child. She lived with various family members in Montana and Nevada until the death of her paternal great-grandmother, Bridget Perry Kuhnhenn (Red Horns Woman). She then was sent to boarding school at Haskell Institute in Kansas. It was there that she met her future husband, Thomas Ralph Goslin (Citizen Potawatomi/Kansas Kickapoo).

Tom and Peggy had three children. Tim and Patsy are both now deceased, and buried in Kansas. Their youngest daughter (initials: J.I.G.S.) is still living as of 2022.
