They were married on April 17, 1879 by the Rev. L. D. Maier.
Loving mother of Mrs. Alfred Baker, Mrs. Eugene Sweglar, Mrs. E. Ridgley and the late Bertha Smick, Mary Talbott, Bernard and Walter Nixon.
Survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at her home, 2309 East North Avenue. She was buried in Baltimore Cemetery.
