Darline W. Keeland, 87 of Green Forest, AR passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014. She was born February 8, 1927 in Cato, MO daughter of the late James and Pearl (Berry) Fields.

She attended Fields School in Shell Knob and started teaching school when she completed 8th grade. On July 12, 1946 she was united in marriage with Lloyd O. Keeland. Darline was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, quilting crocheting, reading and her doll collection. She attended Coin Baptist Church.

Darline is survived by her daughters, Opal Roberts and husband James of Brazoris, TX, Kim Bailey and husband John of Green Forest, Leona Poyner and husband Sonny of Green Forest Charline Goforth of Berryville and Connie McCullough and husband Irvin of Shell Knob, son, Charles Keeland of Green Forest, 24 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Keeland, her parents and one daughter, Barbara June Keeland age 3 1/2, 2 grandsons, Michael Gwinup and Steven Bates, son-in-law, Richie Goforth, daughter-in-law, Darlene Keelend as well as 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Celebration Of Life Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest. Pastor Jerry Scitern will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Komen Foundation.
