Alton McDonald, 85, passed away July 12, after a brief illness. He was a lifetime resident of Manatee County.

He is survived by his loving wife Georgia; a daughter Marilyn (Greg) Bartels; sisters, Ruby Johnson, Ruth McDonald and Lola Cannon; grandson Michael (Becky) Bartels; great-grandchildren, David Bartels and Naomi Clark. Numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 11 - 12 at Kicliter Funeral Home with services to follow at 12 PM. Interment will be following at Palmetto Cemetery.
