Clara M. Ainey Bennett, 79, of Montrose, PA passed away, Monday, January 26, 2015 at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Born December 21, 1935 in Montrose, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Rosenkrans Jr. and Viola [Abbott] Rosenkrans. She was a member of Fairdale United Methodist Church and the Fairdale Grange. Clara was the former co-owner of Bud's Place in Montrose along with her late husband George Ainey. She was a mail carrier with the Montrose Post Office for over 30 years along with helping with the family farm alongside her husband of 31 years Claude Bennett. Clara enjoyed cooking, crocheting, quilting & sewing. Survivors include her husband, Claude A. Bennett of Montrose, PA, children & their spouses, Rick & Peggy Ainey of New Milford, PA, Jim Ainey & Kim Hoskins of Montrose, PA, Terry & Patti Bennett of Montrose, PA, Tammy & David Lake of Choconut, PA, Brenda Bennett-Alise & Joe Alise of Montrose, PA, grandchildren & their spouses, Lisa & Brian Carpenetti, Richard & Danielle Ainey, Audra & Tim Hogan, Angie & Todd Horton, Jared & Liz Bennett, Damian & Dora Bennett, Josh Bennett & Kristy Centofante, Adrian & Joshua Gregory, Nickole Lake, Tiffany & Mark Fraser, 15 great grandchildren, sisters & brother-in-law, Doris & Michael Shuta of Binghamton, NY, Rena Styer of Miami, FL, nieces & nephews.
