Word has received by Mrs. Elizabeth
Blitsch, Cedar Rapids, of the death
Wednesday of her sister, Mrs. Minnie
Brooks, 80, of Muscatine. Mrs. Brooks,
at one time a Cedar Rapids resident,
died in a nursing home after a long
illness.
Also, surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Walter Sell of Muscatine, and two sons,
Curtis Altenbernd of Muscatine and
Webster Altenbernd of Des Moines.
Mrs. Brooks, affillated with the Baptist
church, was a member of the Rebekah lodge.
Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in
the Ralph Wittich funeral home, Musca-
tine. Burial will be at Greenwood
cemetery.
