Pearl L. Petrone, 78, of Connellsville, died Sunday, April 30, 2006, in the Harmon House, Mt. Pleasant. She was born March 4, 1928, in Broadford, a daughter of the late George Washington and Bertha Sandusky Miller. Mrs. Petrone had worked at the former Connellsville Sportswear for several years. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Provance Kingan, of Connellsville; one granddaughter, Destiny Kingan; and two sisters, Elizabeth Ross and her husband, Rocco, of Connellsville, and Bertha King, of Florida. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Edward Petrone in 2004; six brothers, Israel, Robert, Edward, William, Donald and Bernard Miller; and two sisters, Henrietta Sok and Esther Morgan.Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Elmer Reamer officiating.
