Mrs. Alzada G. Sheets, 88 years old, 1704 Blo..field, died at 6:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, 1983, at Cape Girardeau Care Center.
She was born Sept. 16, 1895, at Blodgett.
On Aug. 20, 1917, she married James Golden.. Blodgett. He died June 2, 1949. On Aug 29, 1959, she married Arthur Sheets, who preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1959.
Mrs. Sheets had resided in Layfayette, Ind. .. years prior to moving here in 1961. For 17 years, she was a housemother at Purdue University, Layfayette.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Rebekah and Eagles Auxilliaries, Layfayette.
Survivors are nieces and nephews, and among.. are Oscar Graham and Mrs. Aaron (Fr..) Smothers, both of Cape Girardeau.
The body is at Ford and Sons Funeral Home.. where friends may call after 6 tonight.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rec. S.S. Borum officiating.
The body will them be taken to the Soller -- ... Funeral Home in Layfayette, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Thursday.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at M..Morenici Cemetery in Mount Morenici, Ind.
