S. B. WHITSITT —
Overton — Graveside services for Steven Berry Whitsitt, 50, of New London were at 2 p.m. Monday at Overton Cemetery with the Rev. W. N. Parrish officiating.
Arrangements were by Pearson Funeral Home. Mr. Whitsitt died Saturday in an Overton hospital after a long illness.
He was a native of Marshall and had lived in East Texas most of his life. He had lived in New London for one month. He was a retired oil field worker and was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Whitsitt of New London; two sons, Steven Lawrence Whitsitt and Daniel Ray Whitsitt, both of New London; one daughter, Mrs. Mamie Lou Kemp of Overton; two brothers, Clifford Whitsitt of Lufkin and Leonard Curtis of Washington, D.C.; and five sisters, Mrs. Eva Seaman of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Cordelia Dycus of McKinney, Mrs. Naomi Collins of Longview, Mrs. Annie King of Houston and Mrs. Delphine Whisenhunt.
