Walterboro - Mrs Milbrie Steedly Driggers, 80, died Friday in Walterboro Nursing Home.
She was born in Colleton County, a daughter of the late Fred and Betty Lyons Padgett.
Surviving are two sons, Fred P Steedly of Smoaks, and Gaddis Steedly of Ehrhardt; two daughters, Mrs Edith Webb of Charleston and Mrs Martha Strickland of Greenville, NC; four sisters, Mrs E N Strickland of Smoaks, Mrs Thelma Steedly Helms of Columbia; Mrs Freddie Farrah of Charleston, and Mrs Maude Steedly Platt of California; two brothers, Tyler Padgett of Ruffin and Senis Padgett of Walterboro; nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
Services will be 5 pm today at Ott Funeral Home in Branchville, with burial in Zion Cemetery.
