Mr. Robert Eugene Buehl, age 61, Hamilton, IL died at 9:35 A.M. Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. He was born on September 17, 1946 in Keokuk, IA, a son of Raymond K. Buehl and Myrtle (Frame) Buehl. He married Miss Janet Norris on November 21, 1964 at the First Lutheran Church in Keokuk.
He is survived by his wife: Janet of Hamilton, two sons: Michael (Lisa) Buehl of Drummonds, TN and Eric (Becky) Buehl of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren: Gregory Taylor, Jessica (Jeremy) Payne, Shannon Taylor, Michael Buehl, Jeremy Taylor and Jordan Taylor; 6 Siblings: Bonnie (James) Florie of Quincy, IL, Alberta Thompson of Ft. Madison, IA, Mervin (Darlene) Burgess of Payson, IL, Linda Hall of Keokuk, IA, Barb (Carl) Jordan of Moline, IL and Curlie Buehl of Moline, IL.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter,Debra Lynn Taylo, granddaughter, Kristen Taylor and two brothers, Mike Bueh and Alvin Buehl.
Bob graduated from Keokuk High School and attended Southeastern Community College in Keokuk, IA. He had been employed as a chemist and quality control manager for Morse Rubber in Keokuk. He enjoyed fishing, trains and working in his yard. His family was his love and his life. Services will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Lamporte - St. Clair Funeral Home of Hamilton with Pastor John Heath officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2008 after 3:00 P.M. with the family meeting friends between 6:00 and 8:00 at Lamporte - St. Clair Funeral Home of Hamilton. Cremated and his ashes are with the family
