Mrs. Farver was a 1934 graduate of East Liverpool High School, a graduate of St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing in Erie, and did her graduate studies at John Hopkins in Baltimore, Md. She was the operating room supervisor and instructor of OR Technique at St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie. She was Matron of the Rouse Hospital in Youngsville, Pa. and was a registered nurse at the Corry Memorial Hospital for 25 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, a son, David and her husband, Richard C. Farver.
She is survived by her son, Richard K. Farver, retired Navy Captain and his wife, Jean Farver of Corry; daughters, Jane Ellen Farver, Director of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology List Visual Arts Center, and her husband, John L. Moore of New York City; Mary Kay Perry, Attorney at Law in Seattle, Wash., and her husband, Donald Perry; her grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
