He was a self-employed Landscaper. He is survived by his parents: Joe T. and Corine Maestas of Las Vegas, NM; sons and daughters: Issac Maestas and wife Sharon; Michael H. Maestas and wife Angela; Doline Maestas and special friend Charlie Higgins; Laura Maestas and Michelle Maestas, all of Las Vegas, NM; grandchildren: Michael Maestas, III; Felicity Higgins; Syriah Morales; Jacob Ulibarri, and Trista Maestas, all of Las Vegas, NM; sister: Nancy Maestas of Las Animas, Colorado; brothers: Richard “Ricky” Maestas; Daniel Maestas and wife Cynthia; and Joseph Maestas, all of Las Vegas, NM; aunts: Linda Padilla of Las Vegas, NM, and Emma Gallegos, of Albuquerque, NM; numerous other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 10:00am at the Cornerstone Church, 333 Peggy Lane, Las Vegas, NM with Pastor Mark Saiz officiating.
