Services for Earl Williams, 86, were Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Lamirand officiating.
Mr. Williams was born August 28, 1913, in Drumright and died January 31, 2000 in Healdton. He was the son of Flemon W. and Pearl 'Robinson' Williams.
Mr. Williams came to Southern Oklahoma and lived in the Reck area as a young man. He moved from Reck to Brushy Mound and married the former Truecillah Patty on July 3, 1932 at Brushy Mound. Mr. Williams was employed by Love County District #2, retiring in 1978. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Truecillah Williams of the home in Ringling; a daughter, Doris Barber of Oklahoma City; a son, Cecil Williams of Brushy Mound; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by a son, Don Williams on April 23, 1975; two sisters, Marie McKinnon and Lucille McKinnon and four brothers, Fred, Reeves, Jack and Joe Williams.
Interment was in Crow Cemetery, directed by Alexander Funeral Home, Ringling. Pallbearers were Red Steele, Charlie Steele, Rocky Patty, Truman Patty, Bobby Williams and Mike Williams.
