George Adams of 536 Ford's Lane died in a local hospital at 10:20 a.m. Monday
Mr. Adams, an employee of the Bibb Service Company, was born in Montgomery County, the son of George Wiley Adams and Mrs. Clarissa Jane Calhoun Adams. He had lived in Macon for 30 years, and was a member of the Rebecca Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, George Wiley Adams of Macon; a sister, Miss Lois Adams of Macon; a brother, Lee A. Adams of Glenwood, and several half-sisters and half-brothers.
The body has been taken to Glenwood for funeral and burial. Hart's Mortuary had charge of local arrangements ~ Macon News, Macon, GA., Tuesday December 7, 1954
