Asheville – Aleine Dixon Royal Bruggemann, 88, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 22, 2015 at Flesher’s Fairview Health Care Center.

A native of Sampson County, NC, she had resided in Buncombe County most of her life. She was formerly employed as a Waitress at Tingles Restaurant and was a member of Oakley Baptist Church since 1969.

Mrs. Bruggemann was the daughter of the late Enoch Raymond Royal and Maudie Simmons Royal and wife of the late William Bruggemann who died January 16, 1981.

Surviving are her daughters, Sandra Lee Lipe and Mary Frances Silberman; twin brothers, Wilbert and Gilbert Royal and grandchildren, Andrew Silberman and Christine Faasl; great grandchildren, Kimberly Faasl and Mellisa Fritz and several great-great grandchildren.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 AM Monday, January 26, 2015 at Woodlawn Cemetery.
