Jeanette LEFFERT, 73, 15191 Michigan Road, Argos, died at 6 a.m. today at her home.

She was born in Richland Center to Ben and Alta GARVER McGRIFF. She was a lifetime resident of Argos and was formerly married to Leon LEFFERT.

She retired in 1989 after 30 years with Hart, Schaffner & Marx in Rochester and was a hostess at the former Chi-Am Restaurant in Plymouth.

She attended the Argos Congregational Church and was a former member of the Northern Indiana Herford Cattle Association and Amalgamated Clothing Workers.

Surviving are two sons, Lynn M. LEFFERT, Warsaw; Anthony G LEFFERT, Argos; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Lois McGEE, Argos. Preceding in deth was a sister, Irene WALTERS.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in the Richland Center Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Marshall County 4-H Clubs.
