Mr. Swafford was born in Anthony, Kan., and lived in Fort Worth for 25 years. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors: Two daughters, Stephanie Beahrs and Amberly Swafford, both of Fort Worth; son, Thomas J. Swafford of Fort Worth; three brothers, Willard Swafford of Hutchinson, Kan., Bob Swafford of Emporia, Kan., and Jack Swafford of Conroe; three sisters, Emma Geisen of Harper, Kan., Laura Mae Morgan of Hutchinson and Jennie Natolie of Bloomfield, N.M.; and two grandchildren.
