Funeral services were held at the grave in the Macon Cemetery for Mrs. Jennie Taylor, 82, who died at her residence near Eads Sunday night, April 19, at 11 o'clock, after a short illness. The Rev. T. N. Hale, pastor of the Somerville Baptist Church, conducted the funeral rites.
Mrs. Taylor was a native of Alabama, but had lived in Fayette County for many years. She was a member of the christian Church.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Della Claunch, Macon; Mrs Tommie Leatherwood, Moscow, and Mrs. Vennie Voyles, Eads; three sons, Dave, Blytheville, Ark, John, Essex, MO., and Hoyette, Oakland; one brother, John Moody, Cherokee, Ala, 47 grandchildren and 76 great-grandchildren.
John Wetzler was in charge of arrangements.
