She spent all of her life in the Runnells area, where she spent many years as an in-home daycare provider. Brenda never missed an Iowa State Fair - from the time she was in a play pen to this year. She enjoyed going to sports activities and music concerts of the kids she had in daycare. She also enjoyed reading, needlework, putting puzzles together and various church activities. She was a past member of the Grace Wesleyan Church in Des Moines and a present member of the Runnells Christian Church.
Brenda is survived by her mother, Belva and a sister, Lori both of Runnells and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry and a brother, Lester. Brenda made her own path in life and will be our guardian angel watching over us now.
