Aug. 1889) and Benjamin H. (b. Nov. 1891) lived in Holton, Marathon County, Wisconsin. Naman and Sarah had been married 31 years, having 10 children, 10 living. Jessie Cartwright

Jessie Lucinda Cartwright, a longtime Southeast Portland resident, died March 2 in a nursing home at Cathlamet, Wash.. She was 96.

Born in Wisconsin, Mrs. Cartwright was a Portland resident from 1924 until she moved to Cathlamet nine months ago. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge.

She is survived by two sons, Lester A. and Maurice W. Cartwright Sr., both of Portland; two daughters, Lucille Kyllo of Cathlamet and Irene Braman of Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Martha Blaeser of Whitewater, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and 18 grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Friday at Park *Hills Cemetery, Vancouver, Wash.
