On 3 April 1940 A. C. Cartwright (54) and wife Jessie (53) lived on Roosevelt Ave. in North Bonneville, Skamania County, Washington. He was a carpenter in building construction. They owned their home.

Jessie Cartwright
Jessie Lucinda Cartwright, a longtime Southeast Portland resident, died March 2 in a nursing home at Cathlamet, Wash.. She was 96.
Born in Wisconsin, Mrs. Cartwright was a Portland resident from 1924 until she moved to Cathlamet nine months ago. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by two sons, Lester A. and Maurice W. Cartwright Sr., both of Portland; two daughters, Lucille Kyllo of Cathlamet and Irene Braman of Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Martha Blaeser of Whitewater, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and 18 grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Friday at Park *Hills Cemetery, Vancouver, Wash.
