Funeral services for Ovada Luno will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, LA with Rev. Grady Dodge officiating. Interment will follow in Richey Cemetery, Effie, LA.

Ms. Luno, age 78 of Deville, LA, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at her residence in Deville.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Aldon "Red" Luno & her son, Wayne Luno, & her parents Jack & Hattie Deville.

Ovada worked at Pinecrest and Lakeside Elementary School. She was a native & lifelong resident of Deville.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Donna Kay Rosier of Hickory Grove; her sons, Danny Luno (Mary) of Orange, Texas. Jessie Luno of Marksville, and her grandson she raised, Danny Joe Luno of Texas; her sisters, Peggy Faul of Barksville, Texas, Jenny Wood (Roy) of Bossier City, Ruby Deville of Pineville, & Margie Dubroc of Centerpoint; her brother, Jack Deville, Jr (Doris) of Deville; & her special niece & nephew Annette & Stevie Shrewsbury of Philadelphia Community; 9 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday July 4, 2016 at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, LA from 5:00 until 8:00 PM and will resume on Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
