Helen Jean Snow Wenta, age 78 of Connersville, went home to be with her Heavenly Father, family and friends on January 18, 2015.

Born on September 13, 1936 in Cook, County, IL the daughter of the late Harold T. and Helen V. Lake Snow.

Helen graduated from Bay View High School in Bay View, WI and attended Alverno College.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Helen retired as an administrative secretary for the Marketing Department of General Electric. Helen served as a Chicago Temple worker, worked in the Family History Center in West Allis, WI and played in a band and sang with Sweet Adeline's.

She enjoyed genealogy, crafts, working in puzzle books, and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, snowmobiling, singing, dancing, pantomiming, and watching FOX news. But her greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Lois Arganbright and her husband Mark of Goodyear, Arizona, Wayne Becker and wife Mary of Slinger, WI, Mark Wenta and wife Michelle of Chippewa Falls WI, Michael Wenta and wife Kelly of Connersville; grandchildren, Leandra Anderson Weech and husband, Jared of Lehi, UT, Brandt Hanson of Colorado Springs, CO, Preston Locher of Lafayette, CA, Jason Becker and wife Wendi of Kewaskum, WI, Renae Kaspar and husband Brian of Burlington, WI, Nathaniel and wife Emmie Becker of Hartford , WI, Bryce, Jordan and Payton Wenta of Chippewa Falls, WI, Brandon, Amanda, Austin and Ayden Wenta, and Brandon and Braydon Bolos; great grandchildren, Cooper Bolos, Tayson, Braylee and Branston Weech, Joshua, Jacob, Kayleen, Cora Autum and Austin Becker, Aria, Brynlee and Sterling Becker.

She is also survived by a niece, Debbie Pagelsdorf and husband Larry and her beloved dog Pepe.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Karen Turner a nephew, John Turner and her husband, Frank M. Wenta.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Thursday January 22, 2015 at 10:00 am with Mike Wenta officiating.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday evening at Urban Winkler Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI on Friday January 23, 2015.

Memorials may be made to the benefit of the family.
