Jon Eric Abrahamson, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, died Saturday, January 17, 2015, at his home. He was 57 years old. Mr. Abrahamson was the son of the late Jack Gordon, and Dianna Joan (Majors) Abrahamson. He was a consultant in the oil field and enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, watching the Dallas Cowboys and classic westerns especially Lonesome Dove.
He is survived by his wife Alicia of the home; two sons, Eric Abrahamson of Damascus, Arkansas and Cory Abrahamson of Greenbrier, Arkansas; one brother, Mike Abrahamson of Driggs, Arkansas; mother, Diana Abrahamson of Heber Springs, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Riliegh and Jillian Abrahamson; other relatives and friends.
Mr. Abrahamson is preceded in death by his father, Jack Gordon Abrahamson.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Magazine, Arkansas.
He was laid to rest at Blue Mountain Cemetery, in Blue Mountain, Arkansas.
The Pallbearers were Noel Degatto, Bill Cooper, Jim Edwards, Terry McCary, Craig Bussy, and Randy Shepard.
Honorary pallbearers wereJ Paul Holt and Brian Cooksey.
