George G. Bettencourt, 57, of 863 Atherton avenue, Novato, died in local hospital yesterday after several weeks illness. He had been in Marin County about six months, but had lived here previously. A self-employed accountant, he worked several years in Truckee. Born in Contra Costa County, he spent the early part of his life there. Three brothers survive. "G. G.
