Died: Near Danville on the 1st inst., John F. Cox aged 71 years, 8 months and 20 days.

Died: Near Danville May 1, 1874 Mr John F. Cox, aged 73 years after a short illness which is said to have been caused by both inflammation of the lungs and typhoid fever.
Mr Cox was an old resident of the vicinity in which he ended his long and active life, having carried on the wheelwright business in Danville. He was the father of J.H. Cox, Esq., of Hackettstown and brother in law to the late Hon. Charles Hoagland who for a term represented us in our state legislature, and also brother in law to the late Sheriff Daniel Van Buskirk.
