David Wiley Young, 81, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2000.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with Dr. John Bridwell of First Christian Church officiating.
Mr. Young was born in Blossom. He served in the Army during World War II. He retired from Phillips Petroleum and had been a self-employed plumber.
He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of First Christian Church.
Mr. Young married Opal Crosby in 1948 at Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Loretta Sue Weddle; two sons, James Robert Young and David Wayne Young; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
