Mrs. T.E. Shores Of Phenix City Died Saturday
Mrs. T.E. Shores, age 16 years, died Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock after an illness of one week from gastritis at her home, Second Street and Eighth avenue, Phenix City. She is survived by her husband; one three months old daughter; her mother, Mrs. A.W. Lunsford; four brothers, A.F., W.C., J.R., and Z.W. Lunsford, all of Girard; her grandfather, W.A. Guthrie, and several aunts and uncles. Mrs. Shores was a member of the West Side Baptist church.
The funeral was held Sunday at four o'clock by Rev. Dobbins. The pallbearers were girls of the graduating class of the Girard High School. Interment was in Girard cemetery.
