Rogers, Donald "Don" - age 90 of Lenoir City, passed away January 14, 2015 in Round Rock, TX. He was the son of William A. Rogers and Jane Bales Rogers. He was preceded in death by his two brothers - Edd and Fred Rogers, four sisters - Edith Rogers Crass, Iva Lee Rogers Gray, Patricia Rogers Schaller, and Georgia Rogers Kiley. Survived by his nieces - Martha Ross (Lafayette Hills, PA), Betty Skidmore (Casselberg, FL), and Pauline Nobles (Grand Bay, AL). Nephews - Ira Lee Hill (Oak Rige, TN), Raymond Rogers (Oak Ridge, TN), Jack Rogers (Lenoir City, TN), Paul Rogers (Lenoir City, TN), and Glenn Rogers (Knoxille, TN). Special Friends - Eugene and Shae Luther (Cedar Park, TX), Matthew, Tabitha, and Saryn Luther (Round Rock, TX), Aaron Luther and Family (Honolulu, HI), Betty Holt and Family (Knoxville, TN), Jonathon Smallen and Family (Lenoir City, TN), Miko Ault (Lenoir City, TN), and Margaret Dotson (Loudon, TN).

Don spent most of his life in the military. He was a corner-stone in the community and was well-liked by his friends and neighbors. He spent the last six years of his military career as a recruiter in Knoxville, TN. He received many awards and ribbons. He was a retired veteran of World War II with thirty-eight years of service. He will receive full military honors with the American flag presented to his Pride and Joy - Saryn Luther. Don loved everyone but she was number one.
