Robert Owen Blagg, 53, of Jourdanton, passed away September 17, 2002 in Jourdanton.
He was born on July 3, 1949 to Cecil W. and Ella Steckelmeyer Blagg in Pearsall. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Blagg is survived by three daughters, Shannon Lynn Weaver of Albuquerue, New Mexico, Jennifer Ella Blagg of Pearsall and Jessica Jo Blagg of Georgetown; two brothers, Bill Blagg of San Antonio and Mike Blagg of Caldwell; one sister, Carmen Andrew of Marble Falls and four grandchildren.
Visitation was held September 18, 2002 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton.
Funeral services were held September 19, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton with Rev. John Van Deusen of First Methodist Church in Pleasanton officiating.
Interment followed in Pearsall City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Burkholder, Hanley G. Burris, Ronnie Dutton, Phil Harrison, Terry Johnson, Eddie Nixon and Charles Bradley Weeks.
Honorary pallbearers were Sunday Ochoa, Rachel D. Garcia, Marilynn Erwin, Monica Valdez, Yolanda Tejeda, Sandra Calvillo, Ilse Marshall, Sandra Smith, Lydia Silva, Sylvia Campos, Frank Perez, Henry Moreno and Patsy Rodriguez.
