Telford E. White was born in Marmaduke, AR to parents Leland and Pearl White.
He passed away at his home in Fresno.
Telford moved to California with his family in 1944.
He attended Washington Union and Ridgecrest High Schools.
He married the love of his life, Vesteen McCaskill, in 1954.
They were blessed with two wonderful children, Ricky and Vicki, and would later have three grandchildren.
Telford worked for PG&E for more than 25 years before his retirement.
He enjoyed breeding and racing thoroughbred horses.
He loved spending time with his family and hunting and fishing.
Telford had a wonderful sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to tease someone he loved.
Telford is preceded in death by Vesteen, his wife of 48 years; daughter, Vicki Cullender; son-in-law, Robby Cullender; brothers, Arvin and Adrian White; sisters, Mae Grabil and Edith Hoggard; and stepbrothers, Eugene and Austin Hallam.
He is survived by his son Rick and daughter-in-law Michele; grandchildren Robby Cullender and Tiffany and Brittney White; brother, Jack White and his wife Pam; sister, Charlene Newsom and her husband L.E.; sister-in-law, Shirley Davis; stepbrothers, Stanley and Dale Hallam; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park on Thursday, May 4, 2006, at 11:00 a.m.
