REID - Esther L. Reid, 90, 4149 Safford Road, died at 3:256 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 1990, in Rockford Memorial Hospital, Born Nov. 23, 1899, in Rockford, daughter of William and Anna Lueder. Lifelong Rockford resident. Employed as office worker and saleswoman for various Rockford businesses. Member Second Congregational Church. Survivors include one son, Eugene Hensley, Rockford, 700 Ralston Road; one stepson, James Reid, Rockford; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Julius Lueder, Rockford; several nieces and a nephew. Predeceased by her husband, W. Frank Reid; three sisters and two brothers.
Memorial services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, in BURPEE-WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 420 N. Main St., with the Rev. R. Haines Moffat, associate pastor of Second Congregational Church, officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Family will meet friends at a reception in the dining room at Second Congregational Church following interment. Memorials to Highland Retirement Home or Second Congregational Church. 10-28-3
