married April 12, 1895 in Wythe Co., VA to Priscilla Adeline Sutphin who was born in Patrick Co., VA, daughter of George Washington Sutphin and Martha J. Finn
Columbus Green Hubbard, well-known Wytheville farmer, died last night at Pulaski hospital, where he had been a patient the past few weeks.
He was born in Floyd county, son of the late Zachuriah and Elizabeth Conner Hubbard, and was a life long member of the Methodist church.
He is survived by the following children: C. M. and H. H. Hubbard, of Goodwill, W. Va; A. G. Hubbard and Mrs. Frank Ogle of Winding Gulf, W. Va.; M. E. and C. W. Hubbard, of Barren Spring and Mrs. Grace Schultz of Radford.
Also the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Moten Maberry, of Philadelphia, Tenn., James Hubbard, of Athens, W. Va., and Pose William and Wid Hubbard, of Floyd county.
Services will be held tomorrow at 1 p m. at the Glenwood Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Boyer, pastor.
He will be buried on the farm of his eldest son, C. M. Hubbard. Pallbearers will be grandsons and flower girls granddaughters
