Mr. James Kilpatrick Foss, 84, died Friday, Feb. 28, 1997, at Jefferson County Hospital.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Foss, a lifelong resident of Augusta, had retired as owner and operator of a grocery store. He was a member of Fleming Baptist Church, the Masons Social Lodge No. 1 and a life member of Augusta Lodge No. 205 Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
Survivors include his wife, Mary A. Foss; three sons, Jerry K. Foss, Avera, Ga., Tony J. Foss, Augusta, and Joseph E. Foss, Louisville, Ga.; and eight grandchildren.
