Jack was born in London, England. While training in Canada during WWII he met and married Eunice Gaddas of St. Stephen, NB. Jack returned to Canada after serving in the RAF where he stayed for the remainder of his life.

JACK WALLER
On Saturday, Feb. 23, 1985 at Charlotte County Hospital, Jack Waller passed away, after a lengthy illness. Born in London, England on Oct. 9, 1921 son of the late William Waller, and Ada (Stammers) Waller. He receiv­ed his education in England, completing his Motor Repair Trade apprenticeship before joining the R.A.F. during the Second World War as a fitter. He came to Canada in 1942, for two years under the Air Commonwealth Training Plan, stationed at Pennfield, N.B. where he met and married Eunice Gaddas. Retur­ning to St. Stephen, after the war, in 1946 Jack worked for Chrysler Dealerships for 37 years until July,1983 when ill health forced him to retire. He is survived by his wife, one sister, one aunt, two daughters Carole Ashley, and Lynda Strout, three grand­children Betsy Ashley, Jason and Jared Strout. He was predeceased by a grandson, Bruce David Ashley in I983, and his brother Eric in 1979. He was a member of the Union St. ,Baptist Church, Past Master of Alley Lodge #14, F. & A.M. Upper Mills, N.B, St. Stephen Chapter #6, Royal Arch Masons, Past Worthy Patron of Sunrise Chapter #2, O.E.S., an af­filIiate of Queen Mary Chapter #4, O.E.S., Past President and Life member of St.Croix Branch #9, R.C.L. At the time of his death he was District Commander of St. Croix District, R.C.L. His body rested at S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home until Tuesday. A Masonic and Eastern Star Memorial service was held on the Monday evening. Memorials to the Cancer Society, Heart Fund, C.A.M.R., Anglican Building Fund, Kirk McColl Building Fund, United Baptist Building Fund, Shriners Hospital, and the many floral arrangemnts, testified to the esteem in which the deceased was held.
The funeral service was held in the chapel conducted by Rev. J., Knowles. The, Eulogy was given by Ken Morrison. Music was, rendered by Paul Smythe. The pallbearers were Comrades Philip Moffitt, Ken Morrison,Harry GoodiIl, Gerald Walker,Rupert Lawton, Robert Hay of St. Croix Branch #9, R.C.L.
Graveside service conducted by Rev. J. Knowles, Rev. P. DeLong and Rev. R. Barry, Provincial . Chaplain of the R.C.L. with Comrades from all Legion Branches in the District, attending in, a body.
Interment was held at Oak Bay Cemetery, Oak Bay, N.B.
