Rita "Reedie" is the daughter of Samuel Ruben Nigh and Stella Amanda nee CAVNESS Nigh.

Reedie married Roy Martin Furr in Texas. To this union were born these two children: Bessie Minola and Robert Shelby Furr.

After the tragic death of Roy, Reedie married Ira Clyde Furr about 1925 in Arizona. Ira was the younger brother of Roy. To this union were born these known children: Glenn Austin and Ira Clydene Furr. Ira Clyde and Reedie reared the four children together.
