Louise AvantsLouise Avants, 87, of Jacksboro died Sunday, April 16, 2006, in Bowie. Funeral services were Tuesday, April 18, at First Baptist Church in Jacksboro with Bro. Dale Berry officiating. Burial followed at Post Oak Cemetery under the direction of Coker Funeral Home.Mrs. Avants was born Dec. 14, 1918, in Jack County to the late Dee and Bell (Murry) Campsey. She married the late Harold Avants Sept. 27, 1937, in Post Oak.A sales clerk, she was a member of First Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by a sister, Oleta Martin.Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Burnett of Bowie, Helen Williamson of Benbrook and Dee Armstrong of Graham; a brotther, Otis Campsey of Fort Worth; two sisters-in-law, Essie Eubanks and Bonnie Conner, both of Jacksboro; a brother-in-law, Owen Avants of Fort Worth; and several nieces and nephews.
