Boyd Delbert Halsted was born in Los Angeles, CA, Sept 17, 1943. He left this life on April 21, 1963 when he and his brother Ulis was killed in a motor vehicle accident near Dover, AR. Boyd was a senior in high school and would have graduated in May. After graduation, he was entering the Army.

Boyd and Ulis Holsted, teenage sons of Mr. and Mrs. Tolly Holsted, Dover, Ark., were killed, in addition to another teenager, in a one-car accident Friday night near Russellville, Ark. Two others were injured.
Tolly Holsted is a nephew of T.L., Pete and Russell Holsted, Hubert, Arlin, Marvin and T.L. Holsted left Tuesday for Arkansas to attend funeral services which were held Wednesday at Dover.
