Ida “Blanche” Appleman Cannon, 86, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, at the Kenton Pointe Care Center, in Maysville, Kentucky. Born on January 15, 1928, to the late Henry and Ola Poe Appleman, she was a homemaker and farmer's wife. She was a member of the Bethany Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Paul Clark Cannon, who passed away on January 31, 2008; and her siblings, Mary Appleman, Henry Joe Appleman, Eddie Ethel Schiltz, William Appleman, Frank Appleman, George Appleman and Rosa Appleman. She is survived by her children, Ken (Diana) Cannon, of Bethel, Ohio, Bob (Mary) Cannon, of Alexandria, Kentucky, and Patty (Gene) Martin, of Foster, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Lisa (Adam) McElfresh, of Alexandria, Michael (Katie) Cannon, of Milford, Kentucky, Kyle (Megan) Cannon, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Megan (Matt) Williams, of Bethel; and two step-grandchildren, Stephanie (Bryan) Kohls, of Cincinnati, and Melissa (Jon) Humbert of Cleves, Ohio; one great grandson, Clark Cannon; five step-great grandchildren, Jackson Humbert, Brody Humbert, Trey Humbert, Macie Kohls and Brinley Kohls; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, at the Bethany Church of Christ. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Moore and Parker Funeral Home, in Brooksville, and 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Johnsville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bethany Church of Christ or the Johnsville Cemetery.
