SANDPOINT, IDAHO, Sept. 19-- Sidney Connett, 34, of Sagle, Idaho, died at his home this morning of complications following injuries sustained while serving in World War II.
Connett, born and reared in Sagle, served as a technical sergeant with the 209th Engineer Combat Battalion. He suffered a gunshot wound while stationed in Margareta, India, in July 1944.
He was a member of the Sagle baseball club.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Nettie Connett, a brother, Ted, of Sagle, and a cousin, Phoebe Fackenthall of Spokane, Wash.
