Dr . David C . Roach , veteran physician , who has served the Hampshire and Burlington communities for over 36 years , passed away on Monday night at St . Joseph hospital in Elgin following a prolonged illness . Dr . Roach was known for his humane and kindly interest in his patients . Funeral services were held in Hampshire on Thursday morning at nine o clock at the Frederick Funeral Home followed by service at the St . Charles Catholic church . The Rev . H . A . Meilenger was the officiating clergyman . The rosary was recited at the funeral home until time for the service.
