Virginia M. Hevner York Church of Christ member YORK - Virginia M. "Ginnie" (Topper) Hevner, 69, of York, died Monday morning at York County Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Hevner Sr. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home Inc., 902 Mount Rose Ave., York. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery, York. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Hevner was born March 21, 1931, in York. She was the daughter of the late Claude Rokie and Ester (Harbold) Topper. She was a packer at the Sheltered Workshop. She was a member of York Church of Christ. Mrs. Hevner is survived by a son, Kevin S. Hevner of York; two daughters, Brenda Shaub of York and Wanda Heller of Hanover; 11 grandchil dren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Violetta Troup of Lewisberry; and a stepbrother, Robert Witmer of Manchester. Mrs. Hevner was preceded in death by a son, Robert C. Hevner Jr. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Sue Oelrich.
