PHELPS - Martha Elizabeth "Liz" (Hayden) Hardin, 87, passed away January 12, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents James Mills & Mary Bell (Abell) Hayden; sister, Mary Margaret Allen; husbands, Arthur Phelps, Robert Hardin; and sons, Joe, Danny Ray & Pat Hardin; daughter, Rita Drake; granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Hardin. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, David Hardin (Shirley), Mary Pat Martin, Bibianna Ostrand, JoAnn Frank (John), Gary Hardin (Patricia), Cathy Sullivan, Bennie Jane Whitlock (Greg) and Joe Phelps (Sheila Owens); sisters, Matilda Dillard, Patricia Abell and Eleanor Thomas; brothers, James Hayden (Faye) and Ben Hayden (Diane); 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Church, 6901 Dixie Highway with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 2-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway. Donations and Special thanks to Hosparus of Louisville.
