Shirley Ann Boettcher, 77, of Owensville died Friday, June 22, 2012 at the University Hospital in Columbia. Shirley was born in Windsor, Mo. October 28, 1934, a daughter of the late Jesse and Mary Louise (Luechtefeld) Bowen. On Oct. 5, 1957, she was united in marriage to Herbert Boettcher. She and Herbert, were owners/operators of Boettcher Concrete for over 50 years. She also enjoyed genealogy, cooking, watching her hummingbirds and working puzzles. She was a member of the Woollam Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; and by three brothers, Tom, Bill and Jim Bowen.
