Services for Mary Ellen Davis, 75,of Courtney, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at Courtney United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Scott Rodgers and the Rev. Larry Adkisson officiating.
Mrs. Davis was born February 17, 1926, at Jacksonville, Arkansas, the daughter of Arthur and Myrtle (Keller) Hamilton. She died Monday, March 5, 2001, at her home in Courtney.
She was married to Robert "Bob" Davis in September 1988 in Gainesville, Texas. Mrs. Davis moved to Courtney from North Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1997.
Survivors include her husband, Bob of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Tootie and Johnny Dewbre of Courtney; a son, Randy Hudelson of North Little Rock; five step-children, Woody and Karla Davis of Kansas City, Missouri, David Davis, Lee and Debbie Davis and Michael and Peggy Davis of Benton, Arkansas, and Susan and Dewayne Rhodes of Bluffton, Arkansas; three brothers and sisters- in-law, Charlie and Gladys Hamilton of Lone Oake, Arkansas, J.W. and Betty Hamilton of North Little Rock and Dewayne and Chris Hamilton of Gulfport, Mississippi; two sisters, Margaret Cox of North Little Rock and Louise Smith of Memphis, Tennessee; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Tankie Spivey, Harvey Grant, Bill Dewbre, Jim Dewbre, Michael Davis and David Davis.
Interment was in Petersburg Cemetery under the direction of Spivey's Reser Funeral Home, Ringling.
