Carl Bradac died at his home in the town of Eastman last Friday, December 8, 1893 at the age of 73. The deceased was born in Wersile, Bohemia in 1820 and emmigrated to America in 1856. After one year residence in Chicago, he came to Crawford County and was the second Bohemian to settle here.
With is now bereaved wife,(Catherine Charvat), he engaged in farming and contributed his full share in developing the then wilderness of woods.
Nine children were born to them, four sons, three of whom are married and five daughters, all of whom are married.
Twelve years ago, Mr. Bradac removed to Nebraska where he acquired some property which he subsequently disposed of before returning to his old home here.
His life was one of honor and usefulness and he enjoyed the respect of all his neighbors.
