Mrs. Ross was born in New Milford October 16, 1918, daughter of the late John and Helena Tomaszewska Zakrzewski.
She worked for many years in the film production business in New York, and later was a secretary in a home furnishing company in Manhattan, N.Y.
Mrs. Ross had a wonderful sense of design, both in her home and gardens.
In addition to her parents and beloved husband, who was the light of her life, she was predeceased by two brothers, Benjamin Zakrzewski and Sylvester Zakrzewski; and two sisters, Martha Manchester and Sally Suskey.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday May 2 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, New Milford. Burial was at St. Francis Cemetery, New Milford.
Arrangements by the Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge St., New Milford.
