Surviving are two sons: Richard Greene, of Spruce Pine, and Johnny Greene and wife, Nancy, also of Spruce Pine; a daughter, Beulah Hughes of Georges Fork; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great, great-grandchildren and four great, great, great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13th in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday in the Chapel of Yancey Funeral Services. Rev. David Garland will officiate. Burial will follow in the Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Richard, her son, for the devoted love and care he showed his mother and to her caregiver Ruby Peterson, the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation and Hospice and Palliative Care of the Blue Ridge.
