Margaret Sophia Dammann was the daughter of William Henry Dammann and Magdalena Severin. She married Henry Evers.

OBITUARY; THE DAVENPORT DEMOCRAT - 11 JAN 1948 - PAGE 11 - MRS. HENRY EVERS, ELDRIDGE, DIES OF HEART ATTACK - Mrs. Henry Evers, the former Margaret S. Dammann, daughter of the late Willam and Lena Dammann, was born in Sheriden township, Scott county, Aug 18, 1887. She attended the rural schools and on Jan 25, 1911 was married to Mrs. Evers in Davenport. Following their marriage the couple farmed near Eldridge, moving to their present home four years ago. Mrs. Evers was a member of the Eldridge Turner society auxiliary for 10 years and had served as president of the organization. Surviving are the husband, three sisters, Mrs. Roy Guy, Davenport, Mrs. Ephren Rostenbach, Buffalo, and Mrs. Ben Litscher, Eldridge, and a number of nieces and nephews. A sister, Mrs. Adelia Guy, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held in the Runge Chapel at 1 p.m. Friday followed by burial in Pine Hill cemetery.
