ABELE – William R. Sr., 79, Mundys Corner, died March 7, 1983 at Lee Hospital. Born June 9, 1903, in Johnstown, son of the late William and Theressa (Headricks) Abele. Preceded in death by wife, former Dorothy McDonald, and brothers, Philip and Charles. Survived by these children: William Jr., Virginia Beach, VA., and Nancy Moore, Clinton; also 8 grandchildren and one great, grandchild. Brother of Kathryn Sanderson, North Carolina. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at William T. Hindman Funeral Home, where service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Donald Rager. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
